Use the free DGT Chess app to connect your mobile device with the board using bluetooth, no wires needed! The app then links up with Lichess, a global chess community where you can find over a million real opponents all across the world. Or connect to Chess.com (With Android devices) to connect with millions of others. The app also creates a PGN of your games for later analysis.

After connecting with an opponent, you can put your phone away and concentrate fully on the board. You will see your opponent's moves via pulsing LED rings on the board to easily recognize and relay moves, as well as LEDs lighting up to confirm the board has your move correct as well.

Utilizing the DGT Chess app also allows the use of other features such as: viewing of a game clock, viewing yours and opponents ELO rating, move lists. The app also integrates game actions such as resigning, or offering a draw without having to switch back to your chosen online platform to continue!
