All pre-set timing options can also be set manually and the manual settings are stored in the clock’s memory.

The DGT North American was developed in cooperation with the United States Chess Federation to comply with USCF regulations. It has 21 pre-programmed settings for all popular timing methods.

The delay option in the DGT North American is according to US custom and does not strictly comply with FIDE regulations. All other options are according to FIDE regulations.
